“LEAVE GOD ALONE. SPEAK FOR YOURSELF.

YOU DO NOT KNOW GOD. HE IS ONLY WHAT YOU THINK OF HIM.

IS HE APART FROM YOU ? HE IS THAT PURE CONSCIOUSNESS IN WHICH ALL IDEAS ARE FORMED.

YOU ARE THAT CONSCIOUSNESS.”

Talks with Ramana Maharshi

I think this is one of the most beautiful and profound things I have ever heard. When I read it, it spoke to my heart, it spoke of Truth, and it was telling me: Don`t speak in the name of God when you don`t know a thing. That is slander, using His name in vain.

We make wars in His/Her name, we enjoy being rightful/righteous by using his name, we press forward our causes by using his name.

But what do we actually know that we can be so sure and full of ourselves?

The best we can do is being humble and pray.

I AM that Consciousness….. I so wish I could know me.

  1. God is the “Father”, the creator, the all-Soul, it is not a weak ineffectual being that needs puny human consciousness to defend it. And we are the sparks of God, the eternal offspring of God’s expression of Love. What this person says is like 2 schoolkids in the playground saying …my day is bigger than your dad, he can beat up your dad….etc. this sounds as ridiculous as what this person says. but that is me and as a “child of God” i was granted “Free Will and Choice” by our “Father” or God. So if you know yourself as “Soul”, if you know that you (as soul) were created thus in the image of our “Father”, and that we exist solely because God loves us, then you know who you are. if you still are unsure then here it is again for your edification You are “Soul”, you are a child of God, you are eternal in nature, and God loves all of the creations made, especially God’s children (Soul). if you hear nothing else, then hear that, YOU ARE SOUL
